Coming to the ER
The Emergency Room never closes. This is what happens when you walk in, so you know what to bring and who to ask.
Come straight in, day or nightThe ER is open 24 hours. In an emergency, come in first. You can call (062) 991-1929 on the way.
Triage sees you firstAt the triage area, a nurse checks how urgent each case is, and the most urgent are seen first.
Admitting arranges the roomEvery admission goes through the Information or Admitting section, which arranges your room and papers.
Bring PhilHealth or HMO detailsPatients under PhilHealth or an HMO fill in the forms at admitting. Having your card and ID ready makes it faster.
Forgot something?A personal hygiene kit is available on request, at minimal cost.
Stroke is an emergency
Don't wait for symptoms to pass. ZDH's stroke team won Gold Status for excellence in stroke patient care (WSO Angels Awards, Q1 2026), received at the Stroke Society of the Philippines convention on 12 Aug 2026.
Visiting a patient
Patients need rest, so visits keep to two windows a day.
Mornings9 to 11 am
Afternoons4 to 8 pm
Up to three visitors at a time.
Children aged ten and below can't visit, for their own protection.
Please keep visits short and follow any "No visitors" sign.
The whole hospital is a no-smoking zone. Firearms and alcohol are not allowed.
